Mailing
Campaigns, individual email, digests, and templates.
Mailing sends email to your contacts — one at a time, in campaigns, or on a schedule.
Mailing
Four tabs.
Campaigns — bulk sends to a segment of your contacts, composed in a visual editor.
Individual — one-to-one email from inside Trademetry, so the correspondence stays on the contact's record instead of in a personal inbox.
Templates — reusable campaign layouts.
Setup — sending behaviour: default sender name, reply-to address, whether open tracking is on by default, how many emails per second to send, and the sender identities you may send as.
The emails-per-second setting exists because sending too fast is the quickest way to get a domain flagged. Unless your provider has told you otherwise, leave it where it is.
Email Templates
Separate from campaign templates, this is the transactional mail Trademetry sends by itself, grouped by category:
| Category | Templates |
|---|---|
| Onboarding | Welcome, SSO welcome, password reset |
| Trades | Trade alert, trade digest |
| Accounts | Account connected, disconnected, login failed |
| Billing | Invoice issued, payment received, payment overdue |
| Copiers | Copier started, copier paused, drawdown alert |
| System | New registration, bridge offline |
Each can be edited and switched off individually. They carry your branding, so a client receiving a password reset sees your name, not Trademetry's.
Digests
The periodic account summary your clients receive. Set the default frequency, day, and hour during onboarding or afterwards in settings; recipients can hold their own preference.
Digests are account summaries — balance, equity, floating and period P&L, trade activity. They deliberately carry no operational alerting: failed copiers and disconnected accounts belong in the in-app notification feed.
The monthly digest is a full statement and sends even in a month with no trades, because a statement showing no activity is still a statement. Daily and weekly digests carry trade activity only.
Who you can email
Everything here operates on contacts, so mailing needs CRM add on to have anyone to send to. See CRM.
